YOU define you…
you are not defined by the way the world sees you…
I aim to make mental health services feel less intimidating, particularly for those who have either never been in therapy, are therapists themselves and fear being judged, or haven’t found the right therapist for them. I consider myself a therapist who is working on decolonizing therapy for many reasons but one way is by how I interact with clients- you will likely see me laugh, cuss, cry, or all of the above while in session; I recognize that I may not be the right fit for all clients thus would be happy to provide a free 20min phone consultation to answer any of your questions. I also recognize that not all clients will fit a Eurocentric* box thus provide therapy that is catered to your own needs and takes into account several factors of your life. I also strive to make the therapy room a safe place where culture and traditions meet exploration and healing.
