This space was designed and carefully curated by La Familia Martínez and friends
This space was made possible with the help of Lupita’s dad who helped with cleaning and painting the location as well as drilling items to the walls. Additionally, Lupita’s mom helped bargain shop for furniture, paint and restore furniture, as well as create a concept that aligned with Therapy of the Sun’s goals. Lupita’s brothers not only donated money and wise/kind words of encouragement, but also donated their time. One brother helped Lupita rent the truck and drive it to Beverly Hills, CA where they had purchased the couch which is the highlight of the room; its big dimensions create a warm and comfortable space where clients can sit and rest after a chaotic day. Lupita’s husband also helped move furniture and transfer items from their home to this space. Friends purchased small gifts such as the planters, paintings, and other decor seen around the room. This space is filled with love and intention; it shows the true meaning behind community healing and care.
